Internationally Validated Programming
Website Programming
This website has been programmed using the 'XHTML 1.0 Strict' programming standard. This is an internationally recognised programming standard enabling interoperability with not only standard web browsers such as Internet Explorer but also disability aids such as screen readers.
By using international programming standards, maintenance is simplified. Future additions or changes can carried out with a minimum of effort, by either ourselves or other designers.
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
The use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) within a project seperates the styling of the page from the page content. This makes the website easier to manage and enables pinpoint placement of content. Backgrounds, graphics files, tables, text, animations, all can be located exactly where you want them.
Administered Websites uses CSS on all of its projects. CSS technology is easier for the developer and cheaper for the client. How many more plus points does it need?
International Accessibility Standards
Website Accessibility is a growing concern. Not only are you potentially losing custom if viewers with disabilities cannot access your information but you may be in contravention of a law or two as well.
All works performed by Administered Websites as of January 2007 will be certified as standards compliant.
